London!

It’s been a busy few months! I have a lot going on as I finish up school, but my friend Christine and I were just able to go to London for 10 days – we got back last week – and it was amazing. We were both there last year for our semester abroad and have been dying to go back ever since. It was wonderful to see friends and just be back in such an amazing city. I was also able to attend the launch party for the theatre festival I worked for last year, LIFT (London International Festival of Theatre) which just so happened to match up with the time we were there. Other than that we just wandered around the city and enjoyed the gorgeous weather!

Home!!

I returned safe and sound a few days ago from South America. Though I miss the 80 degree weather, it's nice to be home. Below are some pictures from the trip. Since being back, my friend Karly and I did a test photo shoot for a project I'm working on for school - I'm creating a one act play focusing on the life of Edie Sedwick. Karly has been studying photography at the School of Visual Arts and offered to help me play around a bit to spark some inspiration. I'll post some of the pictures once we've edited them a bit. We're gonna do a more official shoot later on, but it was fun to fool around with some initial ideas for now. Heading back to school in a few days; really looking forward to it, but it's still hard to believe I'm entering my final semester of college....

Leaving Las Flores

Hi all! So I'm currently on a layover at the Santiago de Chile airport on my way back to NYC from Uruguay, and with so many hours to kill, I thought this might be the perfect time to start up a blog (I've recently been thinking of starting one). I just spent a wonderful vacation with my parents and one of my brothers in Las Flores, Uruguay. I have a weeks left vacation in ny before I head back to Boston to finish up my final semester of college. yikes. I'm really looking forward to this semester though, because it's going to be full of lots of fun things. I have my thesis that I will be working on endlessly, and I'll also be making some short films with my great friend, Christine. We recently got into making little films together, just for fun - but as we grow a bit with it we would love to have others take a look at them and our process and hopefully help us out by giving feedback or whatever! Anyway, so this blog is going to most likely range in it's focus, but I'm gonna try to primarily have the theme of film/acting/photography/travel - some of mine, and some of what's out there! I would love this to be a place where I hear your comments and feedback. Soon I want to be able to post your work (photography/cinematography) as well so this can be a place for open discussion!
